Eduroam RADIUS Certificate Expiration and Replacement – Wed., 04/24 6-8 a.m.

April 24, 2024

UMass Amherst Information Technology (IT) will replace the RADIUS certificate for eduroam on the morning of Wednesday, April 24th, from 6-8 a.m. to ensure uninterrupted connectivity. This update covers eduroam connectivity across the entire campus.

Troubleshooting:

For users experiencing connectivity challenges, we suggest the following steps:

  • If prompted to trust the new certificate, accept it.
  • Toggle Wi-Fi on and off on your device.
  • Delete and re-add the eduroam network.
  • Perform a reboot of your device.
  • On the day of the certificate change, run JoinNow (the new certificate will be added to JoinNow, and would securely connect users to eduroam).
  • If you're having difficulty connecting, you can connect via the UMASS network.

Users can report issues related to this maintenance to the IT Service Desk at it@umass.edu or 413-545-9400.
